SUMMER READING AFTER-HOURS KICK-OFF

Join us on Friday, June 2nd from 6:30PM-10:00PM for a break-out challenge, pizza, and a movie! Registration is required for this program. Permission slips can be picked up at any branch beginning Monday, May 22nd or you can print one off and bring it to any branch! After-Hours Permission Slip

TEEN THURSDAYS

Open to teens in grades 6-12. Every Thursday from 3-4PM.

6/1 – Plant-able Bookmarks:

Need a bookmark for all your summer reading? Want to plant some flowers? Kill two birds with one stone and come make a plant-able bookmark; use it now, bury it in the ground later.

 

6/8 – Squirt Gun Painting:

Create art using a squirt gun, paint, and canvas!

 

6/15 – Take 2:

Is there an ending to a book or movie that you absolutely hate? (I’m looking at you, Allegiant!) Have an idea on how to make it better? Join us and create a better ending using various forms of technology and art supplies!

 

6/22 – Life Size Games:

Do you enjoy playing games like Clue, Sorry, and Jenga? Have you ever tried playing the life-size versions? Join us for an afternoon of playing the giant version of your favorite games!

 

 

 

ANIME CLUB

Join other fans to watch Anime, eat snacks, and discuss your favorite Anime and Manga!  Drop in! The first meeting of each month we will watch episodes from a series and during the second meeting we will watch a movie.

Note: During the summer, Anime Club will meet on Mondays!

BOOK CLUBS

Teen Reads
Join us for our monthly meeting of the teen book club! We will meet Monday, June 26th at 3 p.m. to discuss Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. You can pick up this month’s book at the adult circulation desk.  Free while supplies last! Open to teens in grades 9-12!
