To make a general genealogy request, if you are from outside of Morgan County, Indiana:

  • Fill out and mail in this Genealogy Request Form (.pdf)
  • Print out the form from the above link and fill it out.
  • IMPORTANT – Send your completed form and payment of $3 per look-up/request sent from outside of Morgan County, Indiana.  If the information you desire is not one of the ones that can be checked off, simply write your question(s) and as much information as you already have on the lined part of the form.  Research will begin upon receipt of payment.  DO NOT SEND CASH.  Please send a Check or Money Order made out to “Morgan County Public Library.”  Click on “Locations” above for the Martinsville (Main Library) mailing address.

To request an obituary, if you are a Morgan County, Indiana resident, you may fill out the online form below ↓
